Mathematics, Reading, and Science demos of The FCAT Simulation
Software for Grades 3 thru 10 are available online. If you need the
Macintosh version, please click below, provide us the necessary
information and a CD-ROM will be
mailed to your school.
The following links
allow downloads (Windows versions only) of The FCAT Simulation
Software Demos for Grades 3 thru 10 Mathematics, Reading, and
Science. These demos are provided for Florida teachers and
administrators to get a better idea of the capabilities of The FCAT
Simulation Software and are NOT intended for actual student use to
prepare for the FCAT. The demos are approximately 6.5MB for
Mathematics, 4.5MB for Reading, and 8.5MB for Science and are saved
as a ZIP file.

Instructions for downloading:
1. Click on
the Grade and Subject link for the demo you want to download.
2. Click on the "Save" button to save the ZIP file in a download
folder on your computer.
3. Save the file in the default file name
4. When the message "Downloading Complete" is displayed, click
on "Open Folder"
5. Click on the ZIP file you downloaded. If you are
running Windows XP or higher you will have the ability to use the
"Compressed File" utility to unzip this file. As an alternate you
may download WinZip to unzip the file using the link below.
6. Once unzipped, the software will normally automatically begin
the install process. In the event that this does not happen please
click on the "setup.exe" file that was one of the files in the folder
you just unzipped.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
